Vehicles are sold as-is where-is   Call 336-755-3963 to pay for your vehicle – documents (Form 261 & 265) to transfer title provided upon payment    Vehicles are sold under the constructive possession of North Carolina’s State Surplus Agency   Accordingly, many vehicles have title holds that can only be removed AFTER the auction ends   NC State Surplus will not begin the removal process until you pay for your vehicle   Once payment is received NC State Surplus will take steps to remove any title hold   The title hold removal process takes anywhere from a few hours to a few days – to avoid any issues at the DMV, please wait at least 3 business days before taking your Form 261 or Form 265 to a North Carolina DMV or similar licensing agency   The Form 265 is only recognized in the State of North Carolina – please obtain title in North Carolina prior to transferring to any other state   Please note that many licensing agencies may incorrectly believe that the title hold cannot be removed – please do not be discouraged as we have never had a situation where the State of North Carolina was unable to clear the title hold   Please reach out to Ultimate Towing should you have any issues at tammy@ultimatetows.com.
