CAUTION AUCTION BUYERS MUST READ!
NO BUYERS PREMIUM.
- All vehicles are being sold as-is where-is
- Please call 336-755-3963 to pay for your vehicle – supporting documents (Form 261 & 265) to transfer title will be provided upon payment
- Many of these vehicles are being sold under the constructive possession of North Carolina’s State Surplus Agency
- Accordingly, many vehicles have title holds that can only be removed AFTER the auction ends
- NC State Surplus will not begin the removal process until you pay for your vehicle
- Once payment is received NC State Surplus will take steps to remove any title hold
- The title hold removal process takes anywhere from a few hours to a few days – to avoid any issues at the DMV, please wait at least 3 business days before taking your Form 261 or Form 265 to a North Carolina DMV or similar licensing agency
- The Form 265 is only recognized in the State of North Carolina – please obtain title in North Carolina prior to transferring to any other state
- Please note that many licensing agencies may incorrectly believe that the title hold cannot be removed – please do not be discouraged as we have never had a situation where the State of North Carolina was unable to clear the title hold
- Please reach out to Ultimate Towing should you have any issues at rsparr@ultimatetows.com. Make sure you have the last 6 digits of your VIN available.
IronBid Global (NCAFL # 9316) is facilitating the Auction on behalf of Ultimate Towing. All payment, pickup and paperwork will be managed by Ultimate Towing.
